Pruning, Pollarding or Removal of Small to Medium Trees
Please note that I am fully booked with regular gardening clients and therefore unable to accept any new regular or occasional work at the current time.
I am able to care for larger shrubs and small trees by pruning or pollarding where required to maintain the size, shape and
vigour of these larger plants. I use a selection of chain saws, pole saws, pruning saws and loppers where appropriate. Routine pruning of
fruit trees, roses and other large shrubs is charged at £30 per hour which includes the provision of tools and ladders. If you need me to remove
twigs, branches or logs from site for disposal elsewhere, I charge £12 per bulk bag for this service.
I am also able to remove small trees and shrubs, including removal of stumps and roots to slightly below ground level, to allow replanting or turfing
of the area where the tree used to stand. Work of this nature would be for a fixed price agreed in advance. Removal of leaves, twigs, branches and trunk
can be
included in this cost if needed. If you would prefer for me to log, split and transport the felled tree to your log store to be seasoned for future
burning, I am also happy to provide this service for you.
For larger specimen trees, or those that require climbing or working near to roads, fences, footpaths, overhead power lines or telephone cables, I would recommend the services of a dedicated professional tree surgeon.
